Parramatta Golf club occupies the course on lease from Parramatta Regional Park Trust.

It is a par31, 9 hole course of 1930 metres

Such a short course would seem easy for most regular golfers but over the past twenty something years in which pro-am events have been held on the course have proved difficult to break par, the lowest recorded score being 28

Hole 1 Par 4 336 m Index 4

A straight drive down the hill, laying up to the creek which is 45 metres from the green which is bunkered left and right, a generous size.

Hole 2 Par 3 124 m. Index 7

A narrow target between large trees, the two level green needs a good shot from the tee

Hole 3 Par 3 180M Index 1

A long water carry over the dam makes this a great hole and the tee position presents a difficult angle. Pull it and there’s out of bounds around the cottage. Push it and you’re wet.

Hole 4 Par 4 258 m Index 9

Uphill all the way, there is out of bounds on the road for the hook shot, bunkers up the left, mounds and swales on the right. The green is bunkered front.

Hole 5 Par 3 103m Index 8

Over the entrance road this shot is not long but not easy. Power lines overhead, shrubs and gardens each side of the road and a deepish bunker in front add interest, the green is sloping and dished.

Hole 6 Par 4 283m Index 6

Downhill with a dogleg to an elevated green bunkered front and left, the drive left or right has tree trouble.

Hole 7 Par 4 280 m Index 5

Back up the hill, dogleg right, bunkered left and right, the green is right in front of the clubhouse.

Hole 8 Par 3 182 m Index 2

From the tee next to the clubhouse, a mound protects long shots from out of bounds. A generous sized green is mostly level.

Hole 9 Par 3 180m Index 3

A good finishing hole, the tee is elevated and the green is protected by a large bunker from centre to right front.
